Puffy paperclips

More paperclips.  I had to get ready for Christmas and made for paperclips for gifts.  I hand sew'd these little puppies and put some blush on them.
I used Lawn Fawn's star dies for the stars and MFT's cloud die for the little clouds.  I ended up hot gluing the paperclips inside.

More Christmas paperclips

I'm on a paperclip trip!  I made some more festive paperclips for my planner.  Don't you love the ugly sweater?  That has to be my favorite.

Busy Elfette!

I've been so busy working on all of my Christmas projects and gifts.  There's barely any time left!  I ordered the Zig real brush markers off Amazon the other week.  They are amazing markers.  I don't know why I waited so long to get them!  I'm not the best at coloring so the watercolor helps me a little better.  Maybe I'm just lazy is all... Hehe.

Pom Pom paperclips

I'm on a paperclip making roll.  I had to make some more clips for a Christmas gift and I had to make some extra.  I loved the color of the yarn I used.  It's a fun combination and reminds me of unicorn colors!

Pink cards

Another day in December... I should be making Christmas tags right now...
But I've been busy making random cards
Instead.  I'm so behind on Christmas!  I got my haul in from Sweet Stamp Shop and couldn't wait to make some cards with them.
Up next either Christmas tags or pickle cards... Maybe pickled Xmas??

Make your own planner stickers!

I ordered the Little Edibles set from Mama Elephant.  I love this set, all the images are so adorable.  I have a few ideas on what I want to do with these, but first off I made tab stickers.  I water colored the background with my distress inks first.  After that dried I went in with the stamps and inked them with archival ink from Ranger.  Now, when I need them, I can just grab them!
I can't wait to make more sticker sets.  I think next I will stamp mini circle stickers. I order all of my Avery labels from Amazon.

DIY affordable paper clips!

Who doesn't love cute paperclips right?  But buying them hand made on etsy can be expensive.  Here's a cheap and quick way to create your own super cute paperclips for your planner or whatever you use them for!
I went to Michaels and got some 2-d stickers on sale for 40% off.  They had an additional 25% on top of that!  Less than 2 bucks for super cute owl stickers.
I had some gold paper clips I ordered from Amazon a while back.  But you could use whatever you have on hand.
So I used a circle punch to cut out small circles to cover the back.  I sandwiches the paperclip together with the sticker and the circle.
Voila!  You are done!  No brainer right?  I think these look adorable in my planner and for 2 bucks, I have 9 clips I can package up and gift them for friends too. I hope you enjoyed my super quick and easy tutorial for affordable cute paper clips!

Thankful tags

October is nearly over and November is right around the corner.  I started early on these tags for some gifts. Inside the goodie bag is pumpkin cupcake soap, pumpkin latte soap, and pumpkin hand lotion.
I used Lawn Fawn tag die and the thankful mice stamp set/coordinating dies.  I think these mice are so adorable!
And don't you love my sign a friend gave me?  She got it off an etsy shop, so perfect for fall.
I'll be starting on my Christmas projects soon.  Before we know it it'll be winter!

The new Heidi Swapp Memory Planner!

I'm so excited over the new Heidi Swapp memory planner!  The pockets inside a little bigger, and the starting day of the week is now Sunday.  I hated the fact that the old one before started on a Monday.  It just threw me off for so long.

I can't wait to start planning and adding all sorts of goodies to it!
I love all of the gold accessories!

Zodiac Tilda

Welcome to my first post on this blog!  I'm closing down my other blog and decided to have my fun on this blog and make it cute and sweet!  I hope everyone enjoys my projects and ideas!

First up I have a Magnolia Tilda card I made.  She is one of the Zodiac signs in the Zodiac collection.  I used distress reinkers on her and a few Doohickeys.  I kept this card simple and didn't want to add too many 3-d embellies.    I liked the muted grey colors, it makes the bright orange colors on the flower and her dress pop.

I added watered down cream acrylic paint over the embellishments and die cuts to mute down and shabby up the card.

Isn't the little lightbulb adorable?  I got them from Hobby Lobby.  I try to add different embellishments on my magnolia cards all the time so they don't end up all the same.  Hard  to make these cards so differet, we all end up using doilies, cheesecloth, flowers, bows, pearls and seam binding!  Here's to the beginning of a bright and warm Summer!  See you next time...
